Bulb waring light but lights work?

my friend has a 03 sri 2.2dti vecy. He gets a bulb waring light up telling him that his fog light is out but its not? any ideas on a fix for this?

try re-fitting it and cleaning the connective bits on the bulb and holder.
i had the same on and off all the while untill i gave it a clean

I had the same, altough the bulb worked it wasn't seated properly, gave it a good wiggle and it solved it! It's just a case of doing each one till it's sorted.

Had a similar problem with mine it said right side light not working. It was working. But did pack up a few days later.

Had the same problem, it was the filament on 1 bulb that was making and breaking. I ended up taking each bulb out in trun, checking with an ohmeter then giving it a shake and checked on the meter again until I found the suspect bulb. Replaced it and never had a problem since, circa 2 years ago.
