Having driven my car out into the sticks for the first time last night, i've got to agree that a HID kit will be the next step.

I bought the Halfords Extreme Brilliance bulbs which are basically the same as the Philips in power. I also did the tweak to the lights to raise them a little.

But in the pitch black, they still kinda suck. How could VX make a car with such lousy lights???????

Well not sure if that s a good move at the moment, as i been following the Hids thread.

What i want to know is the comparison between the bulbs, i dont want to go down the Hid Kit road. Has anyone got the mtec h7 bulbs?

All those with problems have the 50w kits I think, might be wrong, I have a 35w kit and they're the mutts nuts TBH. I'd never have a car without HIDs/Xenons again...
