    Default Superchip my 2.0T??

I was in contact with Superchips Scotland on friday, they were very helpful and sold their product very well. I am very tempted to now purchase their map off them - it was priced around the £480 mark IIRC so a good bit cheaper than BSR but is it as good as BSR?? The BSR was a huge draw to me when i had lots of warranty left on my car but since the warranty runs out in may im not really bothered about the removable aspect of it.

I seem to remember someone on here getting their car mapped by superchips (poss thorney) and it went tits up, i have tried searching for this thread but i have failed miserably.

So anyone with experience of superchips - what is your opinon??

If it was me Steven, for the extra £80 for the BSR kit you still have that option of reverting to standard/remapping it.

Are you meaning this one? - http://www.vectra-c.com/forum/showthread.php?t=49409. Page 4 is where it kinda starts

I've heard varying experiences of people that have used Superchips - I suppose part of it is down to the individual reseller.

I know I'm 'biased' with me having the BSR kit, but with my experience, and all the other guys on here that have it, it's all good testament.

Yeah thats the thread mate, thanks its a pity there is no outcome to the problem though

I know the BSR is reliable and value for money if your car is in warranty but now that mine is going out of warranty in may im not that bothered about remapping it back to standard, but a big draw is the further stages availabe on the BSR which obviously is not available with superchips.

Has anyone on here actually had their car mapped by superchip's??

Yep, that's the other advantage is the upgrade path.

On the 2.0T I can't think of anyone off the top of my head, although I have a nagging feeling that someone did but can't even begin to think who it was.

just to throw a spanner in the works, you could always consider Angel Tuning, at £300 its a lot cheaper than BSR although its £25 to remove it.
anyone dealt with them ? or, Abbott racing @ £449....also keep your eye on Dream Science, they may do something more for VX's now they are selling products for VXR's
