    Default 302 goin to 314

    ive ordered new callipers and carriers, but the bolt should be the same, so should be able to reuse them,shouldn't i? anyone done this conversion? advise and opions welcomed, cheers

    Loads have done this m8 (including me) I replaced the bolts even though the car was only 12 months old as they are only a couple of £££ to buy from the dealers.

    You will see a difference although from 302's not as much as if you were going from 285's!!!

    I re-used all the bolts when I went from 302 to 314mm. The only new bits I used were the washers each side of the brake hose on to the caliper. Just made sure that the old bolts had all the old thread lock removed and used new lock thread.

    There'll be many on here who have re-used their bolts and many who say you should replace. For peace of mind, then replace them.

    I guess you're talking about the carrier bolts that need the Torx socket, the ones that hold the carrier to the hub?

    Yup, they'll be stock items. At least they were 2 months ago at my local VX stealer.

    I did exactly Reused the bolts, just cleaned off all the thread lock and got new washers for the brake hose to caliper.

    ok, well im putting goodridges on so brake lines covered, just need the bolts, cheers guys
