your symptoms are the same as my issue I had with my CDTi, took it into the dealers and they rectified it by replacing the injector loom, although number 3 was the problem.

Try disconnecting the battery for 45 mins or so to clear any codes and if it comes back, a trip to the delears or to someone with a fault code reader.

Actually Andrew you are correct, it was the feeling of miss firing when they replaced the injector loom.

It was the EGR Valve that was replaced when it had the same syptoms below 2000 rpm no power then above it would go like a train.

Unclip and take off the injector plugs, give them a blow and spray into the plug some electrical contact cleaner then clean the pins in the housing of the injector using cotton buds! Check the EGR valve coz that can get caked in soot, also give the boost sensor a clean and buy some Millers Diesel Power Sport 4 which goes in the fuel tank to give the injectors and everything a clean inside the engine!

Failing that, do the modification for injector plug 3 by reading the threads on here, I also have a HOW2 pending with pictures of how its done!

Have you read the report in the Daily Mail today on this problem that is, according to the paper, only on 2.2s, it does not state is petrol or oil burner. Could be another recall looming up?@
