    Default cheap good tyres?

cumming up to needed two new front tyres, done abit of digging around and people who have had Falken 452's are saying there as good as any top brand tyre, likened to conties, dunlops, mich's etc.

anyone had/know of any experiences with the above?

Then did abit further digging and found some Kumho ku31's have grate reviews aswell and are likened to the falkens, see my thoughts???
the difference in prices is alot, i can get the mich's/conties etc for £180+ a corner. (didnt look that closely as i aint paying that!)
Falkens will cost me £96 a corner, whereas the Kumho's are £65 a corner.

Does anyone think that the Kumho's will be upto the job then?

    Oh BTW i need 235/35/19's

    any thoughts?

I had two falken 452,s fitted last month, have found them very quite probably slightlly better than the two michelin pilot sport 2,s they replaced .
time will tell if they last as long as the mich,es
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it

for me the second most important thing is the price, first being saftey lol, so and extra £100 for a tyre aint worth what i use the car for, you?

at the end of the day you want decent grip in all conditions and the falkens and goodyears have excellent reviews.. you can go silly money on tyres but i dont think there will be a drastically huge difference in quality of ride and handling for a normal vectra for every day use than the difference of a £100 a tyre.. save the pennies and get the falkens or goodyears..

A few reviews here on the Kumhos http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Kumho/Ecsta-KU31.htm, but these, although more dosh are very, very good (ask DitchP) http://www.tyrereviews.co.uk/Tyre/Un...ainsport-2.htm

EDIT: one reason I haven't gone from 17" to 19" - big wheels can equal big prices for tyres.
