    Default Arrrgh wheel nut removal help

    Need to take my alloys off, come to remove them and the locking nut is missing, 45mins later ive been up and down the street in the garage had the car inside out.
    Its lost
    Next issue i dont have a code or anything just a box from VX with no codes on it
    What can be done?

    go to your local scrap yard as they normaly have a box of fitmens they collect out of the cars...just a thought or try smashing a socket over the top of them

    Ripper socket from snap on will do the trick if the above doesn't

    If its a vx locking nut go to a main dealer they should have a set of master locking nut keys.
    Driving vauxhall,s for 30 + years
    and still loving it

    Had ta get rac to get mine off today was threading the nut got a nail and screw in back left couldn,t repair punctures to close together replaced front left too £202 lighter gutted

    check your vehicle documents as well, I always write down things like locking wheel not number in the service book. You never know when you might need it.

    The main dealer lost my brothers locking key for his vectra they took one wheel off went to remove the other wheel and the locking key was gone, as it was his rear brakes being done (and they only done one side) they needed to break them all off to give him a new key (and to do the brakes on other side) they paid for the new set of course. I also thought they had a master key they never told him about this until he went and collected his car and noticed one of the wheels damaged and they replaced that for him to anyway in some cases if the have to break them off they charge and also in some cases if they damage your wheel they don’t take responsibility

    No code anywhere at present looked through everything
