Cool Nearing the end of mods......

    Well now.....

After my Christmas eve hit and run I have got my car back now

Where they blended the paint into the bonnet and door I noticed today that they have painted the wing mirror cover well pleased as it had some nasty scratches in it

New wing and all shiny. I had my moulded mud guards colour coded in Star Silver and they look great. Makes the car look like it's got a body kit.

The front spliter turned up today and I had an email informing me the HiD kit I ordered has now been shipped.

    So.....

Car booked in next week to have the spliter painted and fitted so will obviously take some pictures... it's the law you know

Not planning on doing much else as I think the SRi looks pretty well sorted anyway

    A very happy blues

    Jon

I am well pleased with results. Tied in with the side skirts and deeper front and rear bumper it really finishes it off well and gets rid of the "black" plastic blobs that are infact mudguards

How much are you paying for painting?

Being textured plastic they need a big layer of primer to get rid of the textured effect so a pro did it

I got all four guards and front spliter done.... nearly ... for £100 cash.

not being funny guys, ime in he process of doing my splitter, but on a vec c.

i painted mine tonight, and compunded it, so all it needs it laquering. Ive had no experiance of painting before and i am absolutely made up !!! the qualiy off it is, bodyshop standard.

I would highly reccomend doing it yourself.

2 cans of geniuine colour coded paint from the dealers for £14 wih the laquer.

Thats all it cost. Plently of preperation i.e flatting (sanding) down, and it couldnt be easier!!
