Yeah, I had them before, though on a 13" rim on a Clio. They were OK, about on par with Marshall, Road Champ, etc. You wouldn't (shouldn't?) go round the 'Ring on them, though.

    Are they 2000 directionals?

if so don't go too fast when it rains, it's the same tyre as a Nexen.

I have those on mine, but looking to change then as are not very good in the wet and the fronts are down to the legal limit in 12k

i've used Nexens on the last 2 cars and found them good, never had issues in the wet with them.

I used to use them all the time on my Omega, they were awful, and another friend said the same, I gave them a go on the C and found them to be hairy in the wet as well, they are what they are a cheap tyre that looks good, as for wear I found them average and in the dry they were ok, I won't have them anymore, I'd rather pay another £15 and have a decent tyre.

what is the tyre of choice for people on here? Ive got a 1.8 with 16" alloys on and find that i really struggle to get traction in the wet when pulling away from a stand still. Im not daft enough to think it's the massive horsepower I've got and suspect the tyres aren't great!
