Default What badges do you have? OPC? Irmscher?

    Afternoon all

I have been trying to source some OPC badges but the ones i am after never appear on fleabay.

So my plans are changing and thinking of putting an opc line badge on the rear of my signum and an Irmscher 'I' badge on either side of the car next to the indicator lights.

is it a grave mistake to mix irmscher and opc badges on the one car?

Be good to see what others have on their cars...pics please

IMHO, yes it is a mistake to mix the two tuners!

The reason i think this is because you see too many Kev'd up fibreglass kitted cars about that claim they are HKS/AMG/M-Power/Brabus/Irmscher/Amuse/ect, etc! tuned vehicles when its plain to see that the 1.0L engined beastie is question such as Nova/Saxo/Corsa/106/etc, etc is not the GTR/GT/E/SRi/GSi/V6/24v/Turbo/Motorsport/etc, etc MONSTER MACHINE that the chrome badges say it is.....

When i see such cars about on my travels, i just think that the owner has either just had an accident and crashed through the shop window of Hellfrauds thus has no sense of taste or is a complete T055ER!

Purity is best! If you want to go down the Irmscher route, stick with it and it only and the same goes with the factory tuned OPC option. Don't mix them or risk being seen by other motorists that know the odd fact or two as a MUPPET!

    JM2PW!

I'll get rid of my Irmscher grille and the OPC badge on the back of the car as my car OBVIOUSLY makes me look like a muppet, shame as I thought I had quite a nice car, better not fit the VXR rear bumper spoiler either as it won't go with the grille! What a MUPPET I am!

so if you mix OPC and Irmy badges it makes you a muppet.
Well, my car has OPC Sill Plates, an irmy badge due to it having an IRMY SPOILER! And to really top off my muppetness, i removed the rear Griffin and replaced it with a smaller ever so subtle Holden badge
Personal choice is exactly that. PERSONAL

    Ya muppet!

I think the comments were in relation to having both Irmscher and OPC badges on a car - not having Irmscher kit and OPC badges.

It's all down to personal taste and preference at the end of the day and I can't see any reason why you can't mix Irmscher and OPC badges as long as it's done tastefully/subtly.

    So, in a nutshell..

This is how it was put and I know how I understood it,

"Purity is best! If you want to go down the Irmscher route, stick with it and it only and the same goes with the factory tuned OPC option. Don't mix them or risk being seen by other motorists that know the odd fact or two as a MUPPET!"

I KNOW ONE FACT, GOOD START ON THE SITE FOR THE FIRST EVER POST!!

Probably didn't mean anything about it and I'm not going to be offended or take it the wrong way, I love how my car looks! I don't come on here to argue or fall out with people, it is however a sweeping statement to make and one likely to **** off a few people!

lol, hadn't noticed it was their first post! Not a good intro! lol

It's personal preference obviously and his opinion, which we're all entitled to, and equally entitled to ignore others' opinions - which by the looks of it most people are in relation to that post. lol

I agree as well, it could have been written in a much better way.

Isn't some of the OPC stuff just VXR items? Isn't some of that made by irmscher anyway? Like the rear spoilers????
