Agreed, and since only laquer is damaged probably localised smart repair would be fine - And not too expensive hopefully.

Well took it to my local body shop today and he told me that the whole bonnet needs respraying and front wings lol he all so said my front bumper is a different colour so he thinks its had a front damage

Thought that some bumpers where different colour but you can really see mines different so not sure what i'm going to do now.He did say vauxhall have a 6yrs paint warranty but not sure what they would do as i havent got full service history and they might say its been repaired before

When they said the whole lot needed doing they were just trying to drum up business, imo. To get it all matching perfectly then yeah do the whole thing. How old is your car? I presume forking out to get it all done is unrealistic? Take it somewhere and explain that you want them to make it look as good as tghey can by doing as smaller patch as possible you'd probably find they can do a pretty good job just doing a patch.

    Default paint difference

That little patch has come off 1. due to a previous repair and was sprayed without being in an oven . Or a steamcleaning lance with extremly hot water . you can contact someone like chips away who will do a local job for about £50. I am having a bumper done today for £50 myself.

The second is that sometimes the paint on wings and bumpers are different as metal and plastic have a different surface. You can notice this more on a red car . I does not mean you car has had a bump.
