    Default Twaang!!!!

    Oh Pants!!

Heard this a couple of times now when accelerating hard over bad roads. Seems to be coming from front left passenger side.

    Could it be the springs?

I get this all the time when manouvering at low speed or going over bumpy roads etc...

Having read lots of threads about suspension noise I believe it's caused by the springs moving in the lower cup....

VX did a mod to help solve the problem but not sure when, mine's an 05MY and it has the mod but still twangs...

I cleaned all the grit and **** out of the lower cups on mine and packed them with grease which made a big difference although the grease itself is now attracting more crud!!!

It might be worth checking your springs to be sure none of them have snapped but ouside that, I've just learned to live with it!

    Strange one for sure!?

Gonna check the rad mounts as well today to see if there is any play in them.

After I did this, twangs haven't been an issue anymore.
