I'm looking at getting a cdti sri 150 and just wondered what the main differences between the sri and other models were. Done a bit of a search but didn't find anything much but that was probably just me looking in the wrong place

Body kit and suspension really. You can pretty much get the same engines in the rest of the range.
Does the sri get a higher spec interior, ie things as standard that would have been options in other cars. Don't know if it makes a difference but i'm looking at facelift models.
Only slightly over some models, but the SRi lost stuff through time. My older one has more bits than say an 08.
If you want equipment, then look at Design or Elite. Modern SRi are nothing more than the basic car with a few cheap leather parts, a set of side skirts and sport seats.
From what I have read the sri has lower suspension, stiffer bushes etc giving improved handling. I do want as many toys on the interior as possible but I;m thinking it might be a bit easier to retrofit most of these in comparison to handling set up and seats.
Would be easier to buy one with all the toys, like the elite and then fit better handling springs and a few body mods here and there,hth......![]()
After looking on autotrader and a few other sites I'm quite surprised how much better the spec can be on an elite compared to an sri. Glad I checked now as I really thought it would be the other way around.![]()
