    Default Courtesy light bulbs

    Anyone know off-hand what the specs are for these?

    Seen some nice blue ones on fleabay, 12v 10w, sound about right?

    You need the 5W 501 style.

    Isn't that the sidelights (external)? It's the interior roof courtesy light thingy i'm after...

    They are 501`s as well, I got blue`s fitted, it is the wedge type bulbs. I got mine from autoleds ...

    Depends if you want actual blue or bluey white. The blue sidelight bulbs actually give out a white light, whereas the ones I've linked are blue (or so they say). LEDs give a really cool effect, but aren't super bright. If you've got the rear reading lights fitted, the bulbs in there are the same 501 type, but I don't think LEDs will fit in there coz they're a tight fit in the holders. I'm now info'ed out!

    Lol, just been out and fitted the ones i have, will have to wait until dark to see how blue they look, but if they are anything like the sidelights then they should look good.

    Bulbs work a treat, as you say they're not totally blue but do give a nice blueish-white light. I think it's due to the colour of the light lens maybe filtering out some of the blue, but i'm happy!
