Insignia initial thoughts

Went to see the Insignia at local stealers open weekend today. Have to say am really impressed with first look. Couldn't get near a test drive as loads waiting to have a go. Stealer reckoned it was BMW quality at a much cheaper price!! I bought the Siggie coz I liked to huge loadspace which doesn't have a step up when the back seats are folded down (ideal for gettin my fishin gear in). Got the stealer to drop the rear seats for me but alas there is a step, however the space is cavernous, looks to be much bigger than the siggie. Not had time to check the brochure to see what is standard fit on the top of range Elite. I suppose a lot of the new technology will only be optional costing many pennies!!

Question for the mods: Will the forums be updated to include Insignia chat etc since it is replacing the Vectra?

I test drove the insignia yesterday and was great, but i thought the car was smaller than the Vec-C? I have the estate, so could be wrong. I'm waiting for the estate (sports tourer) to have a look at.

Saw the new insignia today, really dissapointed with the rear legroom, didn't look very good at all, and that was one of the main points when I bought my Vectra.
