Default Wheel lock and other problems!

Strange thing happened last time I started car. Steering wheel was locked and I was unable to release it. Car started, but steering wheel was still locked. There was image about steering wheel and X over it in the dashboard (under tachometer). Then I shutted car down, get outside, lock doors and unlock doors, and retry. Still lock didn't release until car started, but this time no errors and wheels turned again. What was there going ? I hope nothing expensive

I have buyed car start of year 2008 and it worked very vell with no problems over 7 months, until tree collapsed to the car due to storm. There were pretty bad problems - roof inside badly. Car was fixed, but no motor touched. After fixing car there has been these in couple of months :

    * Remote-Controlled locks not opening sometimes when pushing from key
    * Very strange noise from motor when cold (and sometimes even running hot), it did sound like diesel, or like it would throw insides out soon..) - but then, sometimes running very nicely..
(Whole motor has been fixed year ago because chain gave up)
    * Rear-door not opening every time from remote control
    * Other backdoor is not reconized when open, no interior light gets lid and no info on dashboard.

Car is 2,2 direct wagon 05

What would you think, should I put car to the sale for good..?

Sad thing is that car worked like a charm before tree-accident.

    Default

Hmm..now I'm not totally sure. It was not first of those but bottom one..Could be. So it would refer to Power-steering, not steering-lock. Thank you!

If its the bottom one it might be your pump on its way out or you could have a leaky rack or a steering rack sensor best to get the code read tbh
    HTH

Search site for steering wheel exclamation theres loads of posts about it
