    Default Sky Broadband.

Got an offer through with Sky for free sky+ and installation. Currently pay £14 for my current internet subscription.

So thinking about going with Sky Broadband. Only want the basic package, but note it's limited to 2gb/month.

Will this be enough. I don't really download anything. Just browse forums and look at the odd You Tube video.

I have the sky Max package with no limit which doesnt help but I also have mabile broadband with 3 which has a limit of 5gb.

The 5gb limit equates to about 5hours surfing a day (depending on what you are looking at) or about 1000mp3's (I think)

make sure you are definitely in a Sky BB area - I looked at this offer, only to be told, "sorry you will have to pay for the BB as you are not in our area"

Click http://www.samknows.com/broadband/ and check if your exchange has sky installed (LLU)

Just read the smallprint and noticed that Sky Broadband is going up by £5/month from march if you don't have sky talk (I don't want that). So the 2gig/month will now be £5. I'd probably need the mid package anyway. So £10/month extra. That's only a few quid less than my current provider.

It's one of the things that puts me off Sky..constant price increases. Undecided now.

(Only really want it for Lost and Battlestar Galatica )

I took Sky broadband last year and had nothing but problems with connections. When calling the Tech dept (in another country) they were worse than useless. Ended up canceling & going with Tiscali instead who have been fantastic. Even got my £50 connection fee back from Sky.
