    Default Rear Ashtray

The ashtry in the back of the centre consoles for the back seat passengers will never stay in, always hanging out one way or another, anyone else have this prob ??

Dont want to take it out as it will leave a gapping hole

    any fixes out there

The one in my last car broke and the new car came with it pre broke. The dealer who swapped one over from another motor described them as consumables.

I tried everything and in the end had to remove it. When the kids get in and out no matter how careful they are they still kicked it. A cr@p design without a doubt

If you don't use it why not a few dabs of superglue, just enough so you could still open if needs be?

Common fault Spenny. Mine has been in the centre console armrest since i bought it.

Was at my local dealers today hoping to have my thermostat changed and there is only a 1 year warranty on interior trim apparently.

Snowman, you got your ears on?

Mine did the same but I "bent" the spring clip. I can not remember whether it was up or down, but I suggest trying both, Mine works ok now.
