Car Overheating !!!

Driving home today realised that it was getting a little chilly in the cabin. So cranked up the heat and realised that there was no heat!

Looked at the dash and the temp gauge sitting around the 100 mark

No warning lights on dash either which I thought was strange.

So I get home and pop the bonnet to have a butchers and the water reservoir was full.. well on max. I felt it and it wasn't exactly hot, which you'd kinda expect if it was over heating, so I popped the cap off and stuck a finger in, well it was hot but not boiling point.

So i'm thinking blockage or maybe water pump??

Any ideas?

certainly sounds like you have no circulation of water... Knackered (stuck shut) thermostat? - you could remove the stat and test in boiling water... possibley cheaper..
