Default Boot jammed and display screen warning about windscreen wipers fluid

I find it bit annoyed but still I love my car vauxhall vectra 2.2i sri 2003

the thing that when you switch the car on and you can normally see the display screen tell you the date, temp, time and few second later it tell you that you need to refill the windscreen washer but I done it already and the water is full, It keep repeating everytime I switch the engine on

possible the level inside the washer bottle is not working??

Other problem is the back boot, I got problem with the key button to open the boots is not working so it be cost a fortune to replace it so I got the side door button same as the passenger side door to open the boots but its didnt work, all i have to do is open the back boot by using the key,

    How flaming annoyed!

The sensor is probably stuck in the bottle (its a float switch). Take it out and have a look. its behind the wheel arch liner, passenger side. Not sure if it can be reached from just under the car.

Not sure but have a look in the manual to see if depending on what position the lock is in it may stop the other buttons unlocking it. It may also be possible to leave it permanently unlocked if left in a set position. I had a similar issue with my mk4 astra until I looked in the book!

    Hi,

I have spend all day figure it out the problem with the windscreen sensor,

everytime I have switch the engine on and few second, the display have said that I need to fill the windscreen washer bottle but its alway half/full so I though its could be the sensor,

so what I did, I have took out the wheel and notice there the bar possible to support the suspension is snapped so will sort that out later, took the arche out and unplug get sensor and check it and put it back on, its not work

its still the same problem, possible need the new sensor or the wires is faulty?

    - just fill it up and leave it.... it will sort its self....

I had this problem mostly when I've left it empty for ages.

Have you tried using the remote door unlock by pressing mine twice it opens the passenger doors and unlocks the boot.
