    Default Fuel Prices up.

Unleaded has suddenly gone up 6p/litre in my area. Oil price is still the same, the spat over in Gaza doesn't affect oil supply, so WHY??

The oil barrel price is the same, but the cost from refineries was increased on 03 January 2009, and this should now be in effect resulting in an average increase of 5p per litre
As per usual BP and Shell would be the first to move

Thanks, but I was after some specifics on taxation policy to back up the dubious blame assertion. But on your point, can you let me know please whether the UK government are also to blame for the simultaneous recessions in: USA, Germany, France, Italy and Japan, and dramatically slowed growth in China, Russia and India?
