    Default Indicator cancelling problem???

    Help!!

I have a 2005 Vectra-C 1.9cdti 150 nav with AFL, recently the indicators have intermitantly stopped canceling and the AFL light is flashing when this happens. The headlights self level correctly when starting up.

Is this a CIM or indicator switch problem??

Any info would be much appreciated. THANKS.

Could be the cim dead or the steering angle may just need resetting
Now I need a turbo to keep up!

Could be a dodgy CIM or something as simple as the steering angle sensor needing recalibrated. If you were closer I'd have done it for you with my kit as I did the same for another member the other week (calibrated their SAS) as their indicators weren't cancelling at all - due to the dealer not doing the recalibration after fitting a new CIM!

I you don't mind me asking; what Kit do you have for recalibrating the CIM?

MY AFL left xenon went gozzey last week and forgot were the home position was, so i was driving along with the left light poiniting inward. Started the engine many times to try and reset it, but no luck.
Came down the next morning and it was sorted !!
must just take time to reset.

If it doesnt reset itself by the morning i would hazard a guess its nothing to do with the AFL system, its the indicator stalk or software as there electronic.
