Default Help any ideas on my freelander td4????

You may wonder why i am asking for help with my freelander on the veccia c site??? I sold my veccie and got a freelander td4, oh what a mistake!!!!!!! I still listen in on you guys as the landrover forums just don't measure up, I have asked them for help with my problem but haven't got a response so I am going to be cheaky and ask you guys if you can (when you stop laughing!!). I have a 2005 td4 freelander, basically when idiling (especially worse when the engine has run to temperature and part cooled) the engine runs lumpy until i turn the blowers off then she ticks over sweet as a nut, turn the blowers on again and its rough as a dog!!!!!!! Have you guys got any ideas????? Every day i wake up and ask why i got rid of my veccie!!!!!

I was the workshop controller at the local Land Rover dealler untill recently and that problem is very strange i've never heard of that one. However there are a few common faults you might want to check, I presume it's only on idle you get this fault?

yes definitly on idle, especially bad when the engine has got warm and part cooled, however you can tell a definite smoothing out of the idle when the blowers are truned off, its so rough when part cooled its shaking my belly, not good to impress the wife with lol

What age is it? Mileage? Are you getting smoke from the exhaust? Are you technical at all? Just so i know when describing what to check!
