hi i have a vectra 1.9cdti with sat nav, my mate also has one they have on the front drivers and passenger door windows, stickers which say WARNING THIS VEHICLE IS FITTED WITH AN ANTI THEFT TRACKING SYSTEM??????
can anyone tell me if they do have this system and how it works??? i.e. is it subscription or what ever??? the dealers dont know owt when asked, so thought id ask you guys, regards mitch

I seriously doubt that car has any tracking system - the stickers are just there to deter opportunist thieves. If a car has a tracker, you don't want the thieves to know it, otherwise you're telling them they need to locate the tracking device within the car and remove it. You don't see these stickers on the cars that people actually bother to get tracking devices fitted to, e.g. M3s, Range Rovers, S-Class's etc etc.

ok thanks chaps some good comments spec the last one cause thinking about it why put stickers in to show it has one, cheap option and a deterrant, has anyone else got them on there motors????

i put the proper tracker stickers on my old evo, it never had one but people would think it did on a car like that, had it for a year and it never got nicked lol so they worked for me

My Signum has these stickers too.

I know my car was originally registered to Vauxhall and I thought perhaps it was something they might have fitted while it was part of their fleet?
