vectra c 50w HIDS problems

has anyone got these installed?do they work ok? they are from hids direct

just asking cos mine flash from one side to the other every couple of seconds for 40 secs or so after i switch them off and lock the car ,then they are ok... I get no error on the dash.
or who is expecting/have got these just to let me know how they are..the guy from hids direct wants me to send him the 50w ballasts and he will send me some 35w ballasts to try out...i thought it would be the resistor pack giving me problems?thanks guys

I have this kit fitted to my 54 Sri CDTi. No problems at all. Yours might be playing up with the pulse signal the lighting system uses. I'd try using a relay straight from the battery to try and fix your problem first. Worth a try for not much expense.

I think I could live with a 40 sec pulse if they do the job! Must be a simple fix.

Are you good with wiring? Take a feed from the battery to the relay, earth where suits, run the power that goes to the light to the relay instead and then finally run the power from the relay to the HID ballasts. Sounds complicated but it should be fairly straight forward. This will ensure you get a constant good voltage to the lights. You'll still need to run the warning cancellers to avoid OBC errors but i'd worry about that after getting the lights working correctly.

Night and day quite literally. You've seen the very bright lights on BMW's and Mercede's etc? Thats HID's.

Do the TECH 2 chek to them and then they will work!
