Anyone been on Celebrity Cruises on Summit around the med? Not my choice of holiday but the girlfriends parents want to take us and we only have to make a contribution so can't complain.

I have been with celebrity cruises and it was brill - just got wrecked all day long round the pool. I went for my honeymoon 5 days on the CENTURY.
Cheers
Andy
No but I'd go anywhere if it were costing almost nothing.
Even with the future mother in law!!!! LOL
and here was me thinking this was about a car cruise............
if going very cheap matey go go go....our honeymoon was paid for by the in-laws, and they came out for the second week of it....
a bloke who used to work here used to go on cruises. i must admit, i'd like to go on a cruise, but the offputting things for me would be the formal dress for dinner, and the money you need to take for tips. apparently, tipping is an unwritten rule, and expected of you. he said you need to allow £300 for tips?
I would ask for a cash alternitive
Yeah tipping is an unwritten rule but i only had to tip about £80.
They go on and on about how good a cruise is and I have said all along that it's not for me being stuck on a big ferry for 2 weeks, hence why they are taking us. We have been away with them before and they aren't too bad. I get on well with the future farther in law and as an ex-republican he drinks a fair bit so we prop up the bar a fair bit.
