    Default Is the price right

    Just got a quote for front pipes for my 3.2 gsi as the old 1 is blowing on the flex pipe the price is £260 with full life time guarantee is this price about right. the pipes go from manifold to cat

    To put your price into perspective, I had my cat removed AND a new flexy fitted for £120 by MIJ @ Walsall. This was £50 for the de-cat and £70 to supply & fit the new flexy.

    EDIT - basically chopped the cat out and welded in new section with new flexy attached, so no new down pipe required.

    I had the front flexi replaced on mine under warranty at a VXL dealer and I'm sure the invoice price was over £400!

    A few people have posted this problem and the cheapest solution is to get a clamp on flexi from ebay and just cut the old flexi off and slide and clamp the new one on. Cost me approx £20 if i remember correctly.
