Default Look What DHL brought me...

I had bought this off Ebay Last week, it stated in the add that it had a repair to it and that it was ready for preping and painting.

I have bought everything else to make up the bumper spending about £300.
I have emailed the sellers 'charitycarparts' 3 times but have had no reply!

The body shop said it was scrap and that no plastic weld would be strong enough as its in a week point of the bumper, and would crack again in a few months!

Had to order a new one from Vauxhall.

DHL arrived this morning with the bumper.... Have a look...

The body shop said it would repair but if i happen to go over a bump it might just give and crack again! But it might be ok for years he said!! Who knows, at least with a new one I know it will be ok!

I'm not prepared to take the chance mate!!

that doesn't even look like the same part to me. or not the same place as indicated in the e bay listing. the damaged/repaired part looks like primer in the e bay picture, your photos make it look topcoat silver.

The damaged part of it has been fixed and is not a bad job mate, and that is the primed area, but the crack is in a totaly different place, its at the weekest point of the bumper!

The small lugs surrounding the fog light area and at the bottom where the spoiler fits in has been ripped off too, where they have just pulled the old grilles off!!
