whats the most youve had out of your tyres my ncts on my rears are currently on 52'000 i think thats ok and still got 4mm

I got 95k out of the Goodyear GT2 on the back of my old Clio. Only replaced because the sidewalls were dozed. Still had loads of tread.

Back tyres don't do much on a FWD car, and it depends on what sort of driving you do as well.

95k and still very legal when I sold the car. Same tyres it rolled out the factory on.

lol most of the sets would be gd eagles f1 too! i dont know, they just never last on any of my cars! but the handling is worth it

I swap tyres rear to front as they wear
Working out at about 20K miles per tyre; 10K miles on rear then 10K miles on front

I have also performed a short test leaving one set on the rear, they lasted 20K miles while two sets of front tyres wore out normally
Sadly those tyres only lasted 1100 miles on the front and were removed due to excessive noise, then sent to Good Year for analysis and reporting
The report came back yesterday
"Normal wear characteristic of the vehicle"
