Default House Door handles - Cheaper anywhere?

Ok Bought a nice house with the future wife of July in Sept.
Its going great getting lots of stuff done and finding alot of things very well priced at the moment
However the door handles on the doors are pure mank so ive removed them
we have11 a total of 11 doors and a quick sum means we could be spending close to £300 just on door handles let alone the latches etc

Anyone know of any cheaper places than b and q / homebase?

Problem is i cant go for a really small size i need 140cm in length minimum due to the holes from screws left over from the previous set

Any ideas or places i could look would be appreciated

Screwfix is good, you can also look for a local builders merchant they do many things now much cheaper.

If you can get a deal on shorter handles just sand and fill where thold holes are, if you have an indentation where the old handels have been over tightened you can fill that with pre-mixed fine surface polly filler then re-paint.
If the doors are prefinished wood effect doors ignore the above.

I went to B&Q during the holidays and got 11 Oak doors in the sales. I have fitted 5 doors so far and have the 6 upstaris to do. Cause I have chrome hinges downstairs the missus wants them upstairs. After searching all the DIY shops I ended up getting them off ebay.

The issue I have is my wife is 37 weeks preggers and want to get them done before baby arrives, but with a 2 year old running round and a preggers wife is proving difficult. So if you need some practice hanging doors and fitting door handles your more than welcome to gome and have a go.

I dont really fancy changing all the doors theyre more or less new id hedge my bets at 2-3 years old. ive painted all the doors and sanded down the indents of the old handles but when i tried to sand the holes which had been left i found that the wood effect ended up a bit of a mess.
Ill give screwfix a go and see what local places we have around i spose ebay might be worth a go but its hard to tell the quality from a picture only
