bonnet catch

HI, can anybody help .Bonnet will not open on my 2.2 sritdi have tried pulling cable from inside to no avail, tried getting at the catch from inside the grill no hope can any body give me any ideas

not sure if this would help but you could give it a shot, while pulling on the bonnet release have someone push down on the bonnet which might just release it, the cable is maybe stretched or bonnet catch playing up (could be due to the cold weather)

If you get it on ramps I'm sure you can reach up in inclip the spring then it will just wiggle out. Dont know what your tray is like on the dti but on the petrol you can reach up im sure.

sounds like you have snapped the clip. Get it on some ramps and you should be able to get it open
