    Default Help....!!

My Veccy 1.8LS has developed a lovely fault. It wont rev about 1200RPM and sounds like the exhaust has blown majorly and its trying to suck in loads more air than normal. Ive got a light on the dash but its not where you'd normally find the warning lights. Looks like an engine management light.... Because it wont rev high enough I cant change gear - also it struggles to hit 1200RPM.... Any ideas?

Had this on a Tech2 this morning... 2 faults found. Cylinders 2 & 3 werent working. Had them replaced and the coil replaced. Was advised if I still had the same problem then the ecu controlling the cylinders had burnt out. Spent £280 on replacing parts and labour to find out its the ecu. Anybody got any ecu's for a 1.8?!
