    Default traction control switch

hi there this is my first post on here after just getting my first vectra. it is a 2006 design 1.8 16v and was wondering if a traction control switch would work on this model. i have found one on ebay and just want to make sure it will work as on the description he says on some models it doesn't work.
sorry if this is a stupid question . i have searched thew forum to find an answer before posting on here but not had no luck
any info will be greatly apreciated
    cheers

Take the blank out to see if you have the plug. If you do then it may work. Although I am guessing a 2006 1.8 won't have TC anyway so it would be a bit pointless.

I don,t think it will work as you probably don,t have Traction Control on the 1.8. I don,t think it was standard on them.

I don't think it was standard on many face lifts.

    Nor the pre-face lift either.

you won't have traction control, the switch only turns it off but it should illuminate if you put it in, will look better than the blank! There are PLENTY of threads here on the subject.

i was told to check the 3 down on the right hand side. i have checked and there is a blue connection at the back. is this the right one i am looking at. tbh the car doesn't feel like it has any kind of tc but it seems to have the connection for the tc switch. or am i just looking at the wrong one
i ment to say the 3rd down on the right hand side
