I see the USA has seen fit to award our extremely brave and couragous ex-prime minister with a second medal.
AYK he was already awarded the 'Congessional Medal of Honour' a while ago, well he's now been awarded the 'Freedom medal of the USA' to go with it. I'm sure all our brave boys send their congratulations to him, as do I. I dont think so... somehow.

I've a medal for him, it's called the Suppository Star, awarded to only the finest A-Holes, like I was saying the other week in another thread, some make the sacrifice and others receive the credit for it, the man is a disgrace to everyone, a laughing hyena of a man who won't feel so smug when St Peter says f*c*off and take that ugly sister of a wife with you, still he'll have the Bush clan to keep him company in hell and the both of them can become black and feel real heat over their shoulders this time like they've dished out on others in the name of entering the history book with the likes of Nelson, only difference is he was at the front when he earned it.

BTW have you ever seen the factual documentary 'Fahrenheit 9/11 ' by the director Michael Moore. IMO Everyone should watch it.

I agree its not balanced reporting, and like many documentaries its dramatised for effect. However, all the claims contained there-in were backed up by paper evidence. In the USA, it even went to the courts, as the USA government tried their utmost to prevent it being shown, as this government did in this country too.

Do you really think anyone would go ahead and make all those allegations without having done their homework first. There was a feature on one of the discovery channels a couple of years ago called the Making of Fahrenheit 9/11 which showed the extreme measures taken by the producers to obtain prior evidencial proof well before its release. Thats why you will notice that during the documentary they show deliberate close ups of all paper documentation to back up their claims. This is one very sensitive documentary, and you will notice that it does not get shown very often, and even in the rare event it gets a airing, its nearly always in the early hours when few viewers are watching.

Yes I agree, there are some claims which even to me sound a little far fetched in the way it was portrayed. However in view of the fact that courts ruled that the programs claims were based on factual physical evidence, under their own constitution laws, they had no choice but to allow it to be shown. Do you honestly think that the bush family and others, with all their billions of dollars would have allowed this documentary to get anywhere near being aired, if there was not some element of truth in it.

Michael Moore is in the same mould as the Politicians he attempts to 'expose'. He's what we would refer to as a 'Champagne Socialist' (with an image very carefully presented to show him as an 'ordinary guy').

I like my documentaries to be based on ALL the facts (so I can make my own mind up). I don't like biased, one-sided presentations that purport to show 'how it was'.

Another great example: 'An Inconvenient Truth' The daddy of them all. Al Gore's self serving film, using carefully selected 'facts' (and some downright lies) that tells us how the worlds coming to an end due to global warming.
