Me too... Just waiting now to see what the hire car will be
Now, where's Duncan? He knows about this sort of thing...
Sorry to see this Paul. What a downer but al least everyone is OK. It's a difficult one to call in terms of fault but what a crap road layout.
Sorry to hear about this mate.
What a bizarre manoeuvre on her part, going by your diagram, common sense would suggest that the angle/position of the junction she left would mean the only place to go is into the road you were coming out of. It looks to me as if she basically performed a U turn in front of you.
However I would re-word this before you send it to the insurance, don't sound to good when you say you moved forward and then looked forward.
Hope you get it sorted ASAP.
I hadn't planned to call her a bint on the claim form...
Just to clarify, I looked right, left and right again before moving off. Both checks to the right confirmed several hundred yards free from traffic, and looking left I could only see the queue of traffic in that filter lane, all indicating to turn right.
I honestly don't know where she was in that queue, she could have been at the front, or equally could have been 2 or 3 cars back and just dived out to get to the carwash.
not read the rest of the thread but she had to cross YOUR lane of traffic to do the turn. Thus her fault. hope u get it sorted quickly mate.
Wonder if there should be a Poll up for this one.. Fault or Non-Fault?
