    If i have the wiring in the top two plugs does that mean all i need to do is add switches ?

    after you have added the heat pads to the seats aswell

    Do you have to have the Leather seats tho? Can you do it, say to a design interior?

    any interior from what i can see, as they were an option on some models, and not all models had leather

    theres a how2 for fitting the pads

    Fit the pads , join up the wires and switch on.
    Or buy an elite with them pre fitted -
    In this weather - Start up car - switch on windscreen demister, switch on heated seats, scrape a bit of ice of the side windows etc... jump in and warm up bum.
    Good luck with the fitting mate.

    I have the edition 100 interior does anyone know if these have the heated pads all ready in them ?

    No, it won't have them fitted. The heater mats only came fitted with the factory fit leather.

    They are available for the sports interior but i'm not sure if they ill be special order as they stopped fitting the leather in the SRi/GSi in 2005.

    Heated seats used to be an option on all models that didn't have full leather (where they were standard fit), I had heated seats in my '03 Elegance, when I ordered the facelift the option for heated seats had gone - only fitted as standard on the elite. I wish I had had the pads fitted to my leather as I've got the wiring to both front & rear seats
