Can anyone tell me what would happen if my rear wheels had a balancing issue, would it be obvious or would i not notice anything?

Uneven tyre wear and maybe a "shake" through the body of the car at some speeds. If its the front then its felt through the steering wheel.
cheers Sig, would it be heard? the reason i am asking is one of my rear bearing was droning, replaced it last week and now a lot quieter but there is a quieter noise still there, sounds like a flat spot then i thought maybe a weight has come off.
Will see if it get any worse over the next few weeks
You could try swapping the wheels front to back to see if it helps. It could just be a noisy brand of tyres.
will give it a bash.
Would be annoying to find its a noisy brand at £120 a tyre!!!
Cheers
Well you never know, its normaiily the cheap ones but it could well be the tyre. Same brand/type all round?
Yeah, had to replace all 4 at the same time. Goodear Eagle F1,s
Put them on the g/f's astra and seemed decent so put the on Vec when tyres needed done
They are normally good tyres. The vecs/signums are very sensitive to balancing, too much or too little weight throws it right off.
guess for the price of a balance its worth just getting the balance checked, fingers crossed.
Cheers mate
