SOT 122 was the one I used for my Parrot. Hope you get it sorted.

Drifting slightly off thread, I think there are a number of us on here who will be keen to hear how this goes and what the system is like in use. We have tried various ways of connecting ipods - I have a Parrot hands free and a separate ipod setup - but that looks like the ideal solution.

Well my fitting is booked for the 14th of Jan. I have got that afternoon off work so i will give my ipod touch a good test and let you know.

Im wondering where they will run the cable audio cables though, it does have its own gromet so may ask them to run it out of the gap below the stereo.

This is a pic of the cable:

    Angry

    Update:

Attepted to fit this today. All went very well I thought.... but have some major problems so any help would be VERY... helpful.

    1. No sound when using DAB radio but sound with normal FM

    2. No sound from drivers door

    3. When in a call, music still plays from front (7th) speaker

    4. Nobody can hear me!

All the cables were straight forward to plug in, cannot work out what has gone wrong!

If nobody has any suggestions, do you think Halfords will sort it on my free fitting date?

    Thanks!

(oh, and Ipod Touch works flawlessly, track listings on the screen and album art to go with it! )

I had the same 'problem' with the front speaker which I solved somehow. I think it might have been something to do with the extra mute lead - have you got a spare lead somewhere, from the parrot box, like the one in the pic in this how2 thread (it is a different system so could be different).

I think I ended up with the extra yellow lead connected to one of those 'not used' leads. Perhaps it would be best to wait for the fitter?!

Does your ipod sound come out of all speakers correctly? I only ask as I only have a basic parrot phone system and calls only come out of the front speakers.

Halfords should sort it out, that should be part of the service to make sure it works correctly. They should also have some previous experience. There are a couple of chaps in my local branch who are very knowledgeable and knew about leads and fitting and whose brains I picked although I fitted it myself.

Yeah, the ipod comes through all of the speakers correctly which is strange.

I have looked through the Parrot forums, I think I simply need to update the firmware to allow people to hear me.

We still have snow outside at the moment and I froze fitting it yesterday, I am going to leave it until the weekend to have another look over it and probably wait for Halfords to take a look.

Had another quick look over it all, a white wire was not pushed into the rear of the headunit iso block, this has fixed the drivers door speaker problem.

Only real problems I am now faced with are:

    1. Nobody can hear me, just faint background noise can be heard.

    2. No sound from the DAB radio, even though it has reception. (and FM sounds fine)

As a side note, I have read on here that there should be 2 aerials, 1 for FM and 1 for DAB, in my CDC40, I only have 1 aerial in the back. There are nomore "plug holes" for anything else??

No, it's just the one aerial. I have CDC40.

I'll edit that to say there may be 2 aerials on the roof but there is only one aerial lead into the radio.
