    Default Do i go back??

With the Credit Crunch starting to bite, and the UK's Transport Industry on its knee's, there are rumours abound that we might be asked to cut back to a 4 day week, and quite simply i cannot live on 4 days money...

I may have a chance of my old job back in Switzerland, which i left under a little bit of a cloud for my own reasons out there. I have spoken to the gaffer out there and he is prepared to give me a chance make it up to him, as and when a job comes up...

Now, do i go back to what was for a while the best job i ever had, and in hindsight, i probably made far more of the problems out there than there actually was, or do i sit and try and ride out the storm in the UK...

Just after some opinions please, as i am sat here stuck between a rock and a hard place!!

What's your gut feeling? If you have to think about the pros and cons for too long, then it's not the one for you.

Me, I voted back to Suisse.

Got to say, in my opinion and not knowing the whole story, but, if it was a great job, he's willing to give it another go and there isn't a threat of work cutting back, I'd go Swiss.

Transport industry is on its arse in this country, I reckon we're the only people keeping as busy and getting busier at the moment and can afford to stand and use trucks as and when they're needed. But then Waste management (touching wood profusely) was recession proof last time around.

So let's say you stay in the UK - you may well be kicking yourself in three months time wishing you'd run with your gut feeling.

Easy for me to comment as it's not my future. But for you BigMan, I think you've answered your own question and you know deep down what the answer is. You just need a bit of confirmation.
