    Default Changing thermostat 3.2 V6

Hi all and happy new year.

Iīm about to replace the thermostat on my 3.2.
Itīs was about -10 Celsius today and the temp gauge was not moving at all!

Since the car has over 100 000 km on the clock i think itīs about time to replace the coolant as well.
Question: Whatīs the best way to empty the system? I have not found any plug or similar on the bottom of the radiator. Do i have to remove the large inlet hose on the rad?

    Cheers
    Peter

I would remove the lowest hose on the rad and let it drain from there. A good flushing out with a hosepie would be a good idea too.

As always.... When one must perform a mechanical job outdoors, as now with the thermostat switch, nature is doing itīs best to make it hard.
This morning it was -21 C outside...
