Has anyone retro fitted a set of fogs to the Vectra?? Just wondering what kind of work is involved...

Is it worth it for the amount of fog we get that justifies fogs? I have had mine on once maybe twice in the last 12 months both times for less that an hour.

They look much better and as long as you don't drive with them on all the time.

    Vehicle : Vectra C

    Trim : Energy

    Engine : Z19DTH

    Year : 2005

    Mileage : 131,000

    Default

I fitted fogs to the wife's 2005 Vec C Energy, I use them to light access to the rear of my house...
The driver relay is triggered via the light contact on the cigar lighter socket...so when I open the doors, the fogs come as well (if I have left the fog switch in the on position).

As you say though, I use the fog lights for their correct purpose two or three times a year...
Usually going over the woodhead pass (manchester to yorks)
p.s. I am not one of those nuggets who drive around with side and fog lights on...I believe that it is in fact illegal as a "mis-use" of the lights....visability has to be less than 100 yds for fog lights to be used legally iirc.
