my goodness the lesser spotted handbrake failure at 9 and 10
Hi
Talking of the handbrake recall, how can you find out it has been done. I have a 07 Vectra and have had no letter to have it seen to. Vauxhall say approach the dealer first. But surely there must be a central data base to record the recall fix.
Thanks
cs
When i asked my dealer about my 07 Vectra's handbrake he looked it up on the computer and said that it had already been done in the factory.I don't know how truthful this is but i've had no problems with it.
"All recall details for the vectra"
Not entirely true. There are many other recalls that only get dealt with when the car is booked in for servicing that are considered to be non safety related items. Prior to your car arriving, the main dealer will contact the main Vauxhall network to see if there is any outstanding work needing attention.
