Fog Light Surrounds

I just recently bought some from Roy!

and now need to fit them.
i have read the How2 on it.. but in the discussion for it, a few people have said they have just "yanked" out the old fog light surrounds.

Now, i'm up for an easier way around things, but what i don't want to do is damage my bumper.


So, your thoughts's guy's & gal's.

what should i do...

1) take the bumper off and do it te correct way

or

2) give the surrounds a good old pull, and take the easy, but more risky route?

Pulling them isnt risky, i did it, the only thing you will break are the heat melted clips that are on there currently,

If you look at the RHS light cover (where the grooves are ) there are 2 clips just in there, i put a small screw driver in and opened them up and then pulled from that side, the old ones came away with no probs....... so you pulled from the right, to put the new ones back in........... put in from the left
