    Post VXR Bumper and Foglights

    Hi guys
Im new to the site as i've just bought my first veccy. I ended up buying the 1.8 life model and was hoping to be able to fit VXR front and rear bumpers but my main concern was that I don't have foglights on the Life and was wondering whether its possible to fit them by replacing the light switches?
I was also told that i would have to replace the clocks as you can't jus put the template and bulb in. Is the correct?

Once fitted with they would need tech2 to activate them and that would illuminate the light on the dash, no need for new clocks. Dont know if the life model may have the looms for the foglights tucked away somewhere .Maybe worth a look

you would have to retro-fit front fog's to your car, MATT has fitted the SRI front bumper to his car (life model) and is getting a loom made and fitting the correct headlight switch (with front and rear fog switches on it) then it will be ''tech2'd'' to his car, it can be very expensive to do it with new part's but well worth it imho...

You can of course wire the fogs up to a switch inside your car.... Any standard spot light wiring kit will do...

Just had a quote from my local dealer.
    Front Bumper
    Rear Bumper
    Skirts
    VXR Lower Spoilers
    Boot Spoiler
    Fitting and Spraying
    £2400

Thats without fogs, so if i want them done it'll cost £210 for parts and switch plus whatever they want for wiring them.

Think I'll have a look around
