Judging by the oil container, did you change it in a lay-by in Poland or Turkey?

Seriously, money well saved and the satisfaction that you've done a good job and the right oil's gone in. Well done mate.

Nice one Rich, its a bit to cold for me to do mine, ive got the oil and filter ready and waiting. Could you tell me what size the screws in the belly pan were, and what size socket is needed to fit the drain plug. Also how long did it take you to do the whole job ?.
P.S what size socket fits the plastic cap on the oil filter cover.
    Happy New Year

good luck getting the sump nut out, i ended up bashing a 12m socket over the 13mm nut and getting it out that way,so i grinded the head of the battered 13mm head and welding a nice juicy 17mm nut over the grinded smooth 13mm nut head,i was there with no other means of getting a new one

works a treat tho, mayby a new mod lol

Not changing the oil of the Vec C yet, although it is well overdue. I change the sump nuts quite often to stop the heads getting too knackered. Changing the oil on the Vec B work car tomorrow, and that sump nut is in and out more times than visitors to a brothel
