    Default Rear Tweeters

Right, My front speakers were replaced under warranty, My wifes bought me an Alpine Stereo, and my rear speakers are the normal low range ones in the doors. I have got a price for the rear teeters, £10 each, I think they come with the wires ( according to the parts mans display ) but how do you fit them?

It looks like they clip into place on the grille, which is easy enough, but where do you wire them to? On the wiring, it looks like there is a filter of some sort, could this be some sort of crossover? Do you just splice into the wiring for the main speaker and let the filter sort out the frequencies?

Oh and any ideas how to get the window winder thingy off? I tried pulling it on Saturday, but chickened out when it wouldn't move much and I was nearly giving it my full weight.

Why waste your time and money? You probably won't hear the difference sitting in the front. Spend a bit more and upgrade your front components to something a bit more upmarket.

In the future, I probably will. For the time being though, I just want to 'brighten' the sound in the car. I think the rear tweeters will make a difference. Besides, It's only £20 and my time on a saturday afternoon.
