if you get the F-- number off yours and ask him what that one is

The F number will help, but a F23 from a Zaffy, Astra, Vec B wont bolt straight onto mine as there all cable operated, all Vec C's are hydraulic. I'm sure there will be a conversion kit out there as the main box will all be identical with maybe slightly different final ratio's.

Bit of homework, all 1.8's through the modern VX range are fitted with variants of the F17. Variants being the F17, F17+ and each then split into CR and WR (Close ratio and Wide ratio) Sorry mate I know that doesn't give you the ultimate answer you were after but you have a bit more info to help you along.
