new Bulbs

hi all!

happy new year, n all that!

I would like to buy a set of bulbs for our signum. what would you recommend? Osram? Halfrauds?

Also will be needing some for out Corsa C, and Swift too...

I fitted a full set of Osram Nightbreakers dips and main last week (Got them off ebay).Difference is brilliant compared to standard bulbs.

Have a look at the Autoexpress test on bulbs, I have just invested in a pair of H7s manufactured by Philips under the name x-treme. These seemed to be better than the Nightbreakers in the test. Have not used as yet but will update by Saturday. About £15 on ebay from Acebulbs.

My OSrams lasted 1 week

went to halfrauds, got some philips ones, 2 for 1...

I've just fitted Osram nightbreakers. Dipped beam (H7) there is no difference whatsoever compared with the previous bulbs fitted, but they do seem brighter on main beam (H1).

So, talk about a spanner in the worx. I was going to purchase a set of Night Breakers this week, but following spenny's and big dave's comments....im now not sure.

So what would you recommend....X-Treme's?

I've just fitted a set of Philips Xtreme (£22 off eBay) and they are brighter and maybe a slightly whiter light than standard bulbs but thats about it. I think I'm going to look at doing Duncan's mod for pre-facelift headlights now to get a bit more range.
