Bonded mate ( ex rac fitter )
Should get it done for no more than £100 .
Or if she's fully comp just pay the glass excess .

You can go the scrappy way , but you dont get any guarantees on leakage or poor workmanship , A windscreen is safety critical .

I'm sure one of the biggies like autoglass or rac will do it for £100 or less , just haggle with them .
The depot managers get paid on turnover of jobs not profit .

screen out of a scrap car is just as good as a new peice of glass so safty wise makes no difference and they dont have any way of altering prices thru rac they can only do it for the price on the comp cant change it however much u 'haggle'
i work for autowindscreens previously (rac autowindscreens) just been sold balls! to germans! lol as for leaking or windnoise m8 it all depends on the technician if there ****ing crap it will leak if their good u wont have an issue. but have no fear im nvq lvl3 'a' grade tech (top paid technician) so i no wat im doing sometimes lol

Ye mate I was A grade as well , to be honest I beg to differ on the prices as we could always adjust prices to get jobs or price match.
And as far as leaks and poor workmanship goes - you will get far better after sales from a bigger company than some guy who does work for a scrappy .
I did the job for 10 years mate.

yea thats what i ment m8 i wasnt tellin them to get a screen fitted at the scrappy lol un when did u leave the industry??? the computers changed as of start 2008 so if u put the part number in the system like 1158lgr its will bring up the lowest price we can do it for any less will be loss to the company so fitting cntr managers cant alter the price in any such way or they will get there ass kicked! lol
