A man and his wife walked into a dentist's surgery.

The man said to the dentist, "Doctor, I'm in hurry! I have two
mates sitting out in my car outside waiting for us to go play golf. Forget
about the anesthetic - just extract the tooth as quick as you can - I don't
have time to wait for the anesthetic to work!"
The dentist thought to himself, "My goodness, this is a very brave man, asking me to extract his tooth without using anything to kill the pain."

He asked the man, "Which tooth is it, sir?"
The man turned to his wife and said,

"Open your mouth dear, and show the doctor which tooth hurts."
